Diego specializes in intellectual and industrial property rights, new technologies and commercial law. He advises Spanish and international clients on the acquisition, protection and optimization of intellectual and industrial property rights.

He also regularly advises on contracts relating to intellectual and industrial property rights, distribution, agency and advertising. Diego’s practice areas include the content industry, entertainment and media, technology, the Internet and advertising.

Career

Diego has a degree in Law, specializing in Financial Law, from the University of Deusto, Bilbao. In addition, he obtained a Master’s degree in Corporate Legal Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid in 1999. For 10 years, Diego was a member of the Intellectual Property, Industrial Property and New Technologies Department of Garrigues (Madrid).

He regularly gives courses and lectures on the legal aspects of intellectual and industrial property, new technologies, advertising, sponsorship and contracting. He also collaborates in several publications on these matters.
